Hello, I'm Nessie. I'm a breathwork therapist, coach, facilitator, farmer, and someone deeply interested in what helps people stay human in difficult times.
For the past 20 years, I've worked in activism, food systems, leadership development and social justice spaces, alongside supporting people more directly through breathwork, coaching, mentoring and grief tending. I'm currently CEO of the Global Diversity Foundation and a Trustee of Cegin y Bobl, a Wales-based community food charity.
Much of my work comes back to one question: how do we build the inner resilience and relationships needed to create meaningful change without burning ourselves, or each other, out in the process?
I'm interested in what happens when we stop treating personal wellbeing and collective transformation as separate conversations. Because in my experience, they're interconnected.
I'm not here to help people become "better versions of themselves" or support them to superfood themselves into perfection or optimisation. I care much more about keeping it real, supporting people to build honest relationships with who they already are. This includes the messy parts: the tiredness, the uncertainty, the contradictions, and the parts that have learned to armour up to survive.
This view is informed by my own therapeutic journey: years of shadow work, nature-connection facilitation, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Vajrayana Buddhism, and my own animist practice drawn from the land-based ancestral traditions of the British Isles.
I believe breathwork can be a powerful gateway into this honesty with ourselves. The body often knows things long before the mind catches up. Through breath, nervous system work, inquiry, grief tending and coaching, I support people to reconnect with their own instincts, voice and resilience, and to dismantle some of the narratives keeping them captive.

Rooted in the land
I live on an organic farm in West Wales. Farming, and being in service to the seasons, has taught me as much about facilitation, leadership and resilience as any formal training could do. Our animals don't care about how many followers you have or your brand, and the land doesn't respond to hustle culture. On the contrary, the more-than-human world works in seasons. This reality keeps me grounded.
I'm deeply influenced by nearly two decades working in activism and social justice spaces. I believe meaningful allyship, collective care and social change require stamina, humility and the ability to stay in relationship, especially when things feel uncomfortable, imperfect or unresolved. Real change asks us to keep showing up.
At the heart of it
To the body.
To each other.
To the land.
And to what becomes possible when we stop running from ourselves.
